What This Extension Does

The Extension integrates with Gmail to provide engagement analytics and contact insights for our customers’ corporate and investor relations teams. As a summary, the Extension:

  • Adds an "Analytics" button to our customer’s Gmail sidebar
  • Displays engagement metrics (e.g., link clicks, page views) for outbound emails
  • Shows contact analytics and profile information
  • Provides a dashboard with overall engagement statistics
  • Enables tracking link generation for email campaigns

Information We Process

The Extension processes analytics-related information, such as:

  • Email metadata such as sender and recipient information, email subject lines, email timestamps, and links within email content (for tracking link generation). We do not store the full body content of your emails.
  • Authentication data to authenticate you with the Equisolve platform, such as OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (encrypted and stored locally using Chrome’s secure storage API) and PKCE verification parameters (temporary, used during authentication only).
  • User preferences, such as selected company/organization context, panel open/closed state, and environment settings.
  • Analytics and Engagement Data, such as website page view events, link click events, and profile information of customers’ contacts and related dashboard statistics.

How We Use The Information

We act as a “processor” on behalf of our customers under applicable privacy laws with respect to the Extension. We use the information we collect through this Extension to:

  1. Provide the Extension's core functionality - Display website engagement analytics for our customers’ contacts.
  2. Authenticate Customers - Securely log our customers’ authorized users into their Equisolve account.
  3. Maintains preferences – Remember authorized users’ settings between sessions.
  4. Match contacts - Identify contacts in emails to display relevant analytics.

Information Sharing

We may share information under this Analytics Privacy Policy in the following circumstances:

  • Within your organization: Analytics data is accessible to authorized users within our customers’ Equisolve organizational account.
  • Service providers: We may use third-party service providers to host and maintain our infrastructure or assist in analytics-related processing in connection with the Extension.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
